About Clayton Bakes

Baked with love, rooted in family

Clayton Bakes was born from a lifetime of flour-dusted memories. Growing up, I was always drawn to the kitchen — a keen baker from an early age, inspired by stories of my grandparents who ran their own shop. My grandfather was a master confectioner and his passion for craft is where the name Clayton Bakes comes from.

A lockdown discovery

During lockdown, I rediscovered the joy of baking — this time through sourdough. What started as a way to fill the days became a genuine obsession. Bread, focaccia, pizza dough, fruit loaves — my family became very well fed. But the one thing they always asked for, the thing that never lasted long on the cooling rack, was my cinnamon buns.

From family favourite to something more

That's where the idea for Clayton Bakes began. I took my original cinnamon bun recipe and started developing it — experimenting with fillings, layering flavours and creating a range that goes far beyond the classic. Each bun is handcrafted with care, made in small batches and packed with flavour.

Whether you're a cinnamon purist or prefer something a little different, there's plenty to explore — with a range of fillings and flavours to suit every taste.
